وبمناسبة هذا الاستقبال، جدد رئيس الحكومة الإسبانية لجلالة الملك، حفظه الله، التأكيد على موقف إسبانيا الوارد في البيان المشترك لأبريل 2022، الذي يعتبر المبادرة المغربية للحكم الذاتي بمثابة الأساس الأكثر جدية وواقعية ومصداقية من أجل تسوية هذا الخلاف. وأعرب جلالة الملك عن شكره لإسبانيا على هذا الموقف الجديد البناء والهام.
وخلال هذا الاستقبال، أكد جلالة الملك، نصره الله، وفخامة السيد بيدرو سانشيز، على الآفاق المتفردة للتعاون المفتوحة أمام البلدين الجارين، والتي يمثل التنظيم المشترك – مع البرتغال – لكأس العالم لكرة القدم 2030 رافعة إضافية لتعزيزها.
